Brian Harvey's manager today (Sun) claimed that the pop star and model girlfriend Emma B are still together and denied that a bitter feud had erupted at the singer's hospital bedside.

Manager Simon Harrison said it was too early to say whether I'm A Celebrity star Brian might have to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair if he survives his freak car crash injuries.

And as I'm A Celebrity star Brian desperately fights for life, Mr Harrison dismissed reports of a bust-up between his Dad Ian and on-off girlfriend Emma B.

Meanwhile dozens of wellwishers posted messages of support for the singer on his newly-created website.

It had been reported that the former East 17 singer's Dad Ian is furious with Emma, whom he accuses of courting publicity since his son was injured. At one stage Ian was said to have ordered the 25-year-old model away from Brian's bed.

But Mr Harrison today said: "I don't think there's a problem at all between Brian's family and Emma because she has been very supportive.

"There is no more than regular relationship difficulties between Brian and Emma.

"She has been down there at the hospital since day one. Despite what has been reported, they are still together."

Brian, 30, is on a life support machine in intensive care at St George's Hospital in Tooting, south London after being crushed under the wheels of his own car.

His condition is still "critical" after he broke both legs, punctured his lung, shattered his pelvis in six places and crushed his stomach. But he is not in a coma.

He had two ops at Whipps Cross Hospital and then had surgery on his abdomen and shattered pelvis in St George's specialist trauma unit.

Mr Harrison said: "Brian is very heavily sedated and on a ventilator to assist his breathing in intensive care. It's ridiculous it has been said he is going to be in a wheelchair because no-one can tell. The doctors haven't speculated on that. It is just too early to say.

"After over eleven hours of surgery - seven hours at Whipps Cross and four hours at St George's - he hasn't really come round since then. They tried to reduce his medication but he started throwing up, so they had to increase it again."

Dozens of fans logged on to Brian's new website after it went live on Friday night.

One fan, calling himself Thommy, wrote: "Hello mate! Just wanted to say 'Get well soon'. I´m really shocked about the news at the mo, so I can´t really say more.

"There´s loads of people out there that are really worried about you right now. Oh man, never felt so helpless, sitting here, staring at the screen. I don´t know what to write - can´t believe this really happened... Anyways, hang on in there mate! I know there ain´t no stopping the Bri-master!!!"

Another, Melanie, wrote: "Brian, we love you so much. I am very sad and I need you. Take care."

Mr Harrison said he was not surprised at the level of support. He said: "Despite Brian suffering from depression and lots of trauma, he really is a lovely kid and everyone wants him to get better."

Troubled Brian was run over by his Mercedes convertible on Tuesday after falling out of it as he reversed at speed with the door open near his home in Walthamstow, east London.
