Brian Harvey is expected to regain consciousness in the next two days, his manager has announced.
The former East-17 star, who is recovering from injuries to his legs, pelvis, abdomen and ribs after being crushed by his own car, will hopefully emerge naturally from his controlled coma this weekend.
Simon Harrison, the singer's manager, explained, "Doctors are hoping he will wake up of his own accord in the next couple of days.
"They had to remove some more fluid from his lungs but he's stable."
