The former East 17 star was released from hospital on Wednesday (20 July 05) and he is looking forward to a bright future after receiving extensive treatment for a broken leg, a shattered pelvis, severe abdominal injuries and fluid-filled lungs sustained when he fell under the wheels of his own car. His pin-up lover - real name Emma Blocksage - has spoken of their desire to become husband and wife, and she added, "We both really want a baby." The couple were only reconciled by Harvey's accident - he suffered from depression following their split earlier this year (05). The 30-year-old was treated in a rehabilitation centre for clinical depression in April after Blocksage left him. The following month ( May 05), Harvey was rushed to hospital after collapsing at his east London home following an alleged overdose of sleeping tablets, which his manager, Simon Harrison, described as a "cry for help". But Blocksage is adamant Harvey's depression has lifted since her return because he now feels "lucky to be alive".
The former East 17 singer is recovering from being run over by his own car. His pelvis was shattered and a metal bar is holding it in place after the horror in May. Yesterday an ambulance took him from his Walthamstow home in East London to St George’s Hospital, Tooting, South London, for a check-up.
