So i've emailed Simon yesterday about it and here is his email:

I'm sorry we weren't able to let any individual know, but for security, privacy and health reason's it was best kept a secret until he was able to get home.

And he also left a message on the forum:

Hi Everyone
Thanks for sticking with the site and all being so patient waiting for news on Brian's health. I am sorry that I have not been on for a while, but I can confirm that Brian has made good enough recovery to leave the hospital and continue his ongoing recovery from home now.

I'm sorry at this stage I cannot give you any more news, but as you can appreciate we need to make sure he is able to continue to improve outside of the hospital enviroment.
